Within the scope of Gemciler HEPP construction, the water needs of the lands for irrigation of the cultivated areas along the conduit route were determined and irrigation projects were prepared. Irrigation ponds were built at the key points determined according to these projects, the ponds were fed with the lines drawn from the tunnel and the irrigation was ensured to be sustainable.
